Ginger the Gingeraffe Returns to Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a spectacular place to stay – or visit! – any time of year. But there’s something extra magical happening at Jambo House this week!
Ginger the Gingeraffe and Debra the Zebra return to celebrate the 2023 holidays at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House!
Returning for her third holiday season, Ginger is made of 34 pounds of honey, 27 pounds of flour, and a whopping 67 pounds of chocolate.
Joined by her pal Debra the Zebra, Ginger stands in a bright and festive bed of red and pink poinsettias.
The gingerbread giraffe stands at an impressive seven feet tall – the same height as real-life giraffe Humphrey, who calls Animal Kingdom Lodge his home.
Earlier this week, our team watched as the display was assembled by talented Disney cast members. Ginger and Debra are a sight to behold!
Ginger the Gingeraffe and Debra the Zebra are an inspired addition to Disney’s lineup of festive gingerbread masterpieces.
Gingeraffe Sweet Treats

The treat stand will open daily at 4pm at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
