PHOTOS: Check Out the Stunning Gingerbread Display Inside The American Adventure Pavilion
Greetings friends, from the very first day of the 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
All day, your MickeyBlog reporters will be LIVE at the festival, bringing you all the best reviews, reports, photos, and more from this holly-jolly festival. We’re so happy to have you join us!
Right now, on our adventures around the World Showcases, the sweet smell of spice has brought us over to The American Adventure pavilion. There’s a stunning new display arrived here inside the Rotunda Hall, so come with us as we check it out!
A Patriotic Celebration
Especially as it was Thanksgiving only yesterday, it feels wonderfully patriotic to be here in The American Adventure this Friday!
Stepping inside the rotunda, we can see the place looks beautiful and alive with the spirit of the holidays.
The year-round stars and banners already make us smile, but those lush garlands of ribbons and lights sure add the most magical ambience to this patriotic hall!
However, what we’re here today to talk about is this spectacular display of gingerbread houses!
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog this festive season, we’re sure you’ll already know how talented the Disney chefs and Imagineers are when it comes to cookie construction. From life-size carousels to whole, working gingerbread stores, Walt Disney World never fails to impress when it comes to gingerbread!
Over here in The American Adventure, the gingerbread has reached the grandest of levels. Just check out this miniature version of the Lincoln Memorial, all crafted from sugar and spice!
In fact, this instantly recognizable and patriotic display inside of the pavilion may be one of the most intricate designs we’ve seen yet at Walt Disney World.
From the lavish columns to the sturdy cookie brickwork – not forgetting the show-stopping gingerbread president carving himself – this really has taken our breath away here in EPCOT this morning.
There are the sweetest, festive flourishes that have been added to the structure, such as the sparkly Mickey Mouse icon, and these vibrant red poinsettia flowers!
Looking further at the other creations, we can also see that adorable features such as festive characters and even The American Adventure pavilion sign have also been created out of icing and gingerbread.
Just look at the craftsmanship! We can barely get our heads around it!
Next time you’re visiting EPCOT for the Festival of the Holidays, be sure to stop by The American Adventure and step inside the wonderful festive rotunda.
You won’t be disappointed, it’s the most festive, sweet, and patriotic celebration in there!
