EVERYTHING That Was Just Added to EPCOT for the Festival of the Holidays!
The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is almost here! It will kick off on November 24th and run until December 30th.
We know about the food and entertainment that will be at the festival, and we’ve been keeping an eye on the preparations happening in the park. And today, there are a ton of new things around EPCOT for the festival — let’s take a look!
Festival of the Holidays Map
We’ve got a look at the map for the festival!
Here’s a closer look. All of the World Showcase pavilions are labelled and there are numbers around the map to represent the Holiday Kitchens.
The letters on the map show where different entertainment offerings are located.
The key is below!
There is also a QR code to scan that will show you more of the festival offerings.
Cookie Stroll
The Cookie Stroll info is also up for the festival! This shows all of the cookies in the stroll.
Here’s a closer look. You only have to get 5 of these cookies to complete the stroll, and you can even repeat them if you want!
We’ve also got a look at the completer treat, which is what you get for free once you’ve completed the stroll! It’s Star from Disney’s newest movie Wish.
You can get this completer cookie at Holiday Sweets and Treats near Port of Entry.
Holiday Kitchens Menus
Speaking of this holiday kitchen, the menu is up for Holiday Sweets & Treats! You can see everything available and their prices below.
The booth also features some products from Twinings Tea.
Once again, this booth is located over near Port of Entry!
We also saw the menu go up over at Nochebuena Cocina.
This booth is over in World Discovery, before you get to Test Track coming from the World Showcase.
The sign is also more decorated today!
The menu is also up over at Yukon Holiday Kitchen in Canada!
Here’s a closer look at the food…
…and the drinks!
Holiday Storytellers
During the festival, you can check out different Holiday Storytellers around World Showcase. We saw some of the set ups already, but a lot more has been added!
Another thing is that the scroll signs have been swapped for newer ones for some reason. Here’s what the signs looked like a few days ago…
…and here’s what they look like now! This one’s for Mexico.
We also saw the one in Norway…
…and in China, which has added a stage and other decor.
We also have Germany…
…Italy…
…the United States…
…Japan…
…Morocco…
…France…
…the United Kingdom…
…and Canada.
And, there is the whole set up for the Hanukkah Storyteller!
This is located between Morocco and France.
Here’s a closer look!
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt
Olafs are popping up around the park for the scavenger hunt that happens during the festival!
He is all around EPCOT with the holiday traditions from different cultures.
Once you find all of the Olafs, you can turn in your scavenger hunt map and get a prize.
We won’t tell you where each Olaf is, but we will show a few, so if you don’t want any spoilers at all, skip over this part and keep scrolling until you hit the holiday decor!
Here’s another Olaf…
…and another…
…and another!
We’ll reveal all of them once the festival begins.
New Festival of the Holidays Decor
More decor has gone up in EPCOT for the festival! At the park entrance, the poles are now wrapped for the festival.
There are a bunch of different designs!
There are some with things like candles for the Candlelight Processional.
It’s looking very festive!
We also noticed that the banners for the festival are up around EPCOT.
They have matching designs with the wraps around the poles at the entrance.
Here’s another one!
There’s also just the basic Festival of the Holidays logo on some of them.
Stay tuned for more Disney World holiday news and updates!
