PHOTOS: See the Giant Gingerbread Lighthouse & Christmas Village at Disney’s Yacht Club!
The holiday season is all happening at Disney World. There are a bunch of decorations, we’ve got new festive food, you can buy a ton of new merchandise, and tonight is the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
We recently found out that a new gingerbread display would be coming to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and we’re here today to check it out! Let’s go.
Yacht Club Gingerbread Lighthouse
We stopped by Yacht Club the other day to check out the progress on the lighthouse — it’s very impressive!
But, they were not finished with the lighthouse yet.
So, we came back today and it’s all finished! Take it all in below:
This lighthouse is a quarter scale replica of the one that’s at the back of the resort.
Do you see the resemblance?
But, that’s not the only festive display over here!
Yacht Club Christmas Village
There is also a Christmas Village in the lobby near the gingerbread lighthouse!
The theme of the village this year is celebrating The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary.
There are a lot of fun details, like the bunting on the the train.
And look at that snowman water tower!
On the fence of the display is the sign with the times that the train runs throughout the day.
Check out those tiny 100th Anniversary signs!
Here’s another one.
There are a bunch of little shops, like the toy store…
…and Nick’s Tree Farm.
We’ve even got a festive church and a Hall of Records.
Around the display you’ll find some of the locations at Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
The village is a great part of this overall festive display.
We definitely think this is worth checking out if you want to take in all the fun details!
