Disney’s Yacht Club Opens (1990)
On this day in 1990, Disney’s Yacht Club opened.
The new Walt Disney World resort was inspired by the New England seaboard hotels of the late 1980s.
The Incredibles Released (2004)
On this day in 2004, The Incredibles was released in theaters.
The Pixar film tells the story of a family of superheroes.
The 7D Ends (2017)
On this day in 2017, the final episode of The 7D aired.
Based on the Snow White and the Dwarfs, the animated series first aired on
Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Ends Its Run (2017)
On this day in 2017, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade ended its Disneyland run.
The parade would eventually return in January 2019.
Ralph Breaks the Internet Premieres (2018)
On this day in 2018, Ralph Breaks the Internet had its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre.
The Wreck-It Ralph sequel would eventually hit theaters on November 21.
The Wonderful World of Disney Presents The Little Mermaid Live! Airs (2019)
Finally, on this day in 2019, The Wonderful World of Disney Presents The Little Mermaid Live! aired on ABC.
The 2-hour live performance of The Little Mermaid was put on in front of a live studio audience in commemoration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
