Space Mountain LAUNCHES Back Into Action at Disneyland Park!
Have you visited Disneyland Park recently? If you have, you may have noticed the park was a little…empty. (We’re not referring to crowds, unfortunately.)
The Adventureland Treehouse is still closed (but reopening next month!), it’s a small world is unavailable while it transforms into its holiday overlay, the Mark Twain Riverboat is getting some much-needed TLC, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure won’t open until sometime next year, the CenTOONial Park is still being worked on (and will reopen next week), and Space Mountain has been out of commission. (We need to catch our breath after that ridiculously long list!) But fortunately for Disney Park guests, Space Mountain has officially reopened!
Space Mountain
Space Mountain has been closed off to guests for quite some time over in Tomorrowland. We recently noticed scaffolding go up at the attraction.
And while we still noticed some leftover scaffolding in the area today…
…that didn’t stop the attraction from reopening to guests!
The standby time while we visited was 40 minutes, and we hope you’re not relying on them to give you the current time–the clock is missing its hands.
Regardless of the work still left to do over at Space Mountain, we’re happy to see the attraction launch back into action!
Another Upcoming Refurb
One attraction opens and another one closes! Guests trekking through Adventureland will soon notice the closure of Indiana Jones Adventure.
The attraction will close to guests on November 27th, but it will only be down for a short while, as Disneyland’s calendar has the attraction off the refurbishment list as of Friday, December 1st!
