Opening DATE Announced for Disneyland’s Adventureland Treehouse!
Does the construction ever end at the Disney Parks? Well, not really — they’re almost always working on something new or finding ways to improve the magical things they already have!
This is true in both Disney World and Disneyland. There’s actually one thing that’s been under construction for quite a while in Disneyland park, but we just found out when it’s going to reopen!
Adventureland Treehouse Opening Date
Adventureland Treehouse will open on November 10th! The attraction was formerly Tarzan’s Treehouse, but now, it’s inspired by Disney’s movie Swiss Family Robinson.
And, we’ve got new details on the storyline of the renovated treehouse.
Disney says that in the treehouse you’ll find the mother’s music den, the sons’ nature room, and the daughter’s astronomer’s loft. On the ground, you can check out the kitchen, dining room, and father’s art studio, which will have hand-drawn sketches and paintings of each room.
The new story is that the family made an oasis among the trees that’s inspired by nature. They used what they could find around them and are able to use the space for collaboration as well as exploring their own interests.
Since the family is proud of what they’ve built, they are inviting everyone to their house so we can check it out for ourselves!
You can see the iconic waterwheel next to the stairwell of the house, which is powered by the small brook nearby. There is actually a pulley system created by the family that moves the water from the stream up into the tree which creates energy allowing more gadgets in the house to run.
The daughter’s room is in the highest part of the treehouse. Up here, you can find her illustrations as well as a great view of the night sky.
She spends her time charting the stars, planets, and comets with her telescopes and recording what she finds in her notebooks as well as her artwork.
Then, in the mother’s room, you can check out some musical instruments like a harp, lute, guitar, and organ. She plays them to fill the house with music!
The twin brothers have a large collection of plants and animals in their room. And, the father has a bunch of gadgets, appliances, and other inventions in his studio.
So, get ready to explore this newly reimagined treehouse soon! Stay tuned for more Disneyland news and updates.
