NEW Gingerbread Display Coming to One Disney World Hotel This Holiday Season
It’s time to get festive! Walt Disney World has just revealed more details for the 2023 holiday season, including the return of the beloved Gingerbread Displays at several Walt Disney World Resorts and the larger-than-life Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!

While guests will be able to start seeing the Gingerbread Displays pop-up at their favorite Walt Disney World Resort next month, the plan to bring them to life starts months in advance!
For the Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the culinary team begins mixing the super-fragrant dough back in May, which is followed by a two-month curing process.

Once cured, the culinary team begins baking and decorating the shapes that bring the Gingerbread House to life — that includes everything from shingles to Mickey heads.
Over the Summer, the culinary team’s creations are stored until the final masterpiece is built, which takes around three days.

This year, a new display will be available at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! Disney hasn’t shared what this new display will look like, but we can’t wait to see it.
Guests visiting Walt Disney World during the 2023 holiday season can see Gingerbread Displays at the six following hotels:
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney BoardWalk Resort
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
