BREAKING: All-Day Park Hopper Access is Coming Back to Disney World!
Over the past few years, visiting Disney World got a bit…complicated.
When Disney World reopened in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of changes took place to make it easier for Cast Members to maintain a level of control over crowds. These changes namely included Park Reservations as well as, eventually, limited Park Hopping.

Spaceship Earth in EPCOT
In the past, guests could Park Hop at any time in the day (with valid tickets or Annual Passes), but for the last few years Park Hopping has been limited to 2PM.
Basically, guests would have to check into their Park Reservation first, and only after 2PM could they enter a different park.

Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom
On May 9, 2023, Disney announced that Park Reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets beginning on January 9th, 2024. Disney, however, made no announcements regarding Park Hopping changes.
Now, we have an answer!
Park Hopping Rules Relaxed
Disney has just shared that beginning January 9, 2024 guests with a Park Hopper ticket or an Annual Pass will have the ability to Park Hop at ANY time. Yes, that means that these guests no longer have to wait until 2PM to Park Hop!
So essentially, spontaneity is back in Disney World! If you want to enter Magic Kingdom at 9AM to ride the PeopleMover and then head over to EPCOT at 9:30AM, you can — beginning on January 9th, 2024.
Good-to-Go Days
Disney also announced that beginning sometime in January, “good-to-go” days will be available for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
The “good-to-go” days were initially announced on May 8, 2023, but Disney didn’t give a timeframe other than stating they would begin “in 2024.”

Tower of Terror
Essentially, “good-to go” days will allow Annual Passholders to visit a Walt Disney World theme park without a theme park reservation.
The “good-to-go” days will appear on the theme park reservation calendar and roll out on an ongoing basis. Annual Passholders will be able to see when they can visit a park without a reservation.
January 9, 2024 is a BIG Day!
Per the announcement this morning on Disney Parks Blog, here’s what guests have to look forward to on January 9th. It’s going to be a HUGE day!
- All-day Park Hopper access during park hours
- Theme park reservations no longer required for date-based tickets (our standard ticket option)
- Disney dining plans available once again for Disney Resort hotel guests as part of a package
