Park Hopping Restrictions will Continue into 2024
Adding the option to Park Hop during your vacation is a great way to break up the theme parks into smaller chunks and make them more manageable. Despite Park Pass Reservations going away on January 9th, Park Hopping restrictions will continue into 2024.
Many families choose the Park Hopping option so they can hit one of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks early to squeeze in as many rides as possible, take a break during the heat of the day for a pool break, then head to a different theme park in the evenings.

TRON
For example, you might decide to head to Magic Kingdom to take advantage of the 30 minutes of early entry (for resort guests only) to ride the new Tron Lightcycle // Run coaster (as long as you get a spot on the virtual queue). Plus you hit Space Mountain, and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train before the lines get long, have breakfast at Crystal Palace, then a few other rides before you head back to your resort for lunch and a nap/swim.

2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
After that sweet nap and a quick dip, you decide you want to head to Epcot for the evening. During the summer, you might get to experience the Flower and Garden festival, or the International Food and Wine festival for the evening, alongside some fantastic attraction, with the nighttime fireworks to send your evening.
A full day for sure! Some guests like to take the 4 Parks Challenge… Park hopping to all 4 theme parks in 1 day! I’ve done it and you definitely want your best walking shoes for that challenge.
Thankfully, guests will be able to go to the parks without a park pass reservation starting January 9th! The only downside is guests will still be restricted to their first park of the day until 2pm.
