PHOTOS: See the Recent Construction in Disney World
Is there ever a time when construction isn’t happening in Disney World? It seems like there is always something being worked on, whether it be a huge project (like what’s happening in EPCOT) or a small refurbishment.
We like to keep up with the construction regularly so we can tell you about it before your next trip. So, without further ado, let’s check out the construction that’s been happening recently in Disney World.
Starting off in Magic Kingdom, we noticed that Columbia Harbour House is undergoing a bit of work in Liberty Square.
There is some scrim up on the left side of the building.

Construction workers were up on a lift working on the top floor of the BoardWalk Inn.
This appears to just be some regular maintenance.
We also saw that the awning was removed from the side balcony over here.
Along the walkway between Yacht & Beach Club and EPCOT we saw that the netting was replaced.
It’s all bright and clean and white — let’s see how long it stays that way!
It definitely does fit the theming of the Beach Club.
Summer House on the Lake is making some great progress over in Disney Springs.
You can see work being done inside of the building.
Windows have also been added in some sections.
We can’t wait to see this place when it’s finished!
Rainforest Cafe has walls up around the bottom, but they want you to know that they’re still open!
There is scaffolding up around the volcano.
Some of the scrim has signs on it to direct you on where to go to get into the restaurant.
Paradiso 37 also has walls up around it, but they are still open!
Finally, there is a bunch of work being done on the bridge in Disney Springs between The Landing and the West Side.
You can see scaffolding underneath the black scrim.
And some of the scaffolding isn’t even covered up!
We’re not sure what’s going on over here, but we’ll keep you updated!
