This definitely feels like a weekend for kicking back, relaxing and curling up with a good tv show!? You’re in luck, Disney and affiliates have an awesome line-up of programs that you’ll definitely want to check out. Here are five of our favorites.
Shark Tank—Friday, October 8, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
Tonight’s version of Shark Tank marks a very important milestone. Emma Grede CEO of Good American and founding partner at SKIMS will make history as the first black female guest shark! Grede and the other Sharks will start off by hearing a pitch from an Philadelphia entrepreneur who has created a line of apparel and accessories with an emphasis on hair care and protection.
Next up, it’s a husband and wife from Cincinnati who have created a healthy superfood-packed treat. Next, we meet a high school art teacher from Burnet, Texas who introduces a convenient, safe way to store jewelry on the go. Finally we conclude with a NYC fashion designer who has come up with a plan to transform the way clothing is manufactured in America.
Sydney to the Max—Friday, October 8, at 8:25 p.m. ET on Disney Channel
Tune in tonight at 8:25pm for an all-new episode called “The Hunt For Rad October. Sydney (Ruth Righi) and her friends are getting super excited for Halloween and their peanut butter and jelly group costume. But things change when they discover that they’re the ONLY kids wearing costumes to eighth grade!

Muppets Haunted Mansion—Friday, October 8, on Disney+
In case you missed it the Muppets first ever Halloween Special – Muppets Haunted Mansion is now available to stream on Disney+ It features three new original songs “Rest in Peace,” “Life Hereafter,” and “Tie the Knot Tango.” The special also promises a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together. Muppets Haunted Mansion also includes many hidden easter eggs for Disney fans and “Muppet-ized” sets and props that help immerse viewers in the storytelling experience.
Big City Greens—Saturday, October 9, at 8:30 a.m. ET on Disney Channel
In the episode Squashed, the Greens are getting ready for their Halloween party. Bill (Bob Joles) is disappointed by the poor results at his small pumpkin patch. When Bill and Tilly (Marieve Herington) visit BigTech to make a produce delivery, Tilly secretly borrows an alien chemical compound from Gwendolyn Zapp (Cheri Oteri) to make Bill’s pumpkins grow. It seems to be effective until the pumpkins actually turn into alien!
Impeachment: American Crime Story—Saturday, October 9, at 6 p.m. ET on FX
Mature audiences only for this limited series that examines the crisis that led to the first impeachment of a US President in over a century. The story is told through the eyes of the women at the center of the events including Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein), Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson), and Paula Jones (Annaleigh Ashford). Impeachment: American Crime Story reveals how power lifts some and drops others in the halls of our most sacred institutions.
