Construction Blocking Part of U.K. Pavilion in EPCOT
If there’s one thing you can count on at Disney World, it’s construction. There is almost always something being worked on in the parks, resorts, or surrounding areas.
Splash Mountain construction
There are huge projects like what’s happening with World Celebration in EPCOT, as well as smaller things like a new sign being added. Today, we noticed some construction over in EPCOT’s World Showcase.
U.K. Pavilion Construction
The United Kingdom pavilion is currently under construction. We noticed the middle of the main road between the shops was blocked off with bushes.
There are is some heavy machinery with lifts in the blocked off space, so it looks like they’re trying to work on the higher parts of the buildings.
We’re not sure what exactly is being worked on, but if we had to guess, we’d say it’s just some regular maintenance on the fronts of these buildings. It could also be a small refresh of the paint.
Luckily, you can still reach the back of the pavilion where the stage is! Just cut through the stores or go around the back of the pavilion where there’s a path (on the side of the pavilion closest to France).
All of the stores also remain open during this construction, so you can still happily shop!
