CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Summer House at Disney Springs is Getting Windows
Our MickeyBlogger Kayla was at Disney Springs today and popped over to the West Side to see how construction is coming along on Summer House on the Lake, a new table service eatery slated to open at Disney Springs this year.
Summer House on the Lake will specialize in California-style cuisine with a dining room aesthetic that brings the breezy beach vibes.
Once complete guests can soak in the coastal ambiance or dine outside on one of the outdoor patios.
Though construction on Summer House has been slow, we are starting to see signs of progress.
The West Side Disney Springs spot is surrounded by tall construction walls.
However when Kayla popped by she did notice that windows were now going into place.
We can see that the space will boast beautiful views of Disney Springs with a large windowed dining room.
Once open Summer House on the Lake will serve up Lunch, Dinner, and Weekend Brunch.
The menu will showcase garden-fresh foods that incorporate seasonal Florida ingredients.
Menu highlights will include flavorful salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. Over the weekend, guests will be able to enjoy a special brunch menu.
You’ll also want to save room for dessert so that you can tuck into baked cookies, brownies, and other goodies from the in-house bakery.
In addition, Summer House will offer a myriad of fabulous beverages to pair with your meal. This includes wine, beer, handcrafted cocktails, and nonalcoholic drinks.
A highlight of the Summer House on the Lake Dining Experience will be the eatery’s Rosé Cart. You’ll find it brimming with an eclectic array of options for Rosé-lovers!
Adjacent to Summer House will also be The Cookie Jar.
The grab-and-go location will sell freshly baked cookies, in-house made pastries, wine, beer and handcrafted cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, and more.
We are so excited to be seeing signs of life at Summer House.
We can’t wait to see construction on this location continue and to finally get an opening date for Summer House on the Lake.
