The Emporium is Having Electrical Issues in Magic Kingdom
The Emporium is having electrical issues this morning.
After all the bear excitement yesterday, I’m sure Cast Members at Magic Kingdom were hoping for a smooth morning.
It looks like that won’t be the case for the Emporium today; they came into some lighting issues.
When we entered Magic Kingdom this morning, we noticed things looking a little dark in the Emporium.
Cast Members confirmed that they are having some electrical issues this morning. About half of the lights are out.
This retail location is still open for guests to shop. Just be prepared for it to be a little dark in some areas.
We’re sure that work has already begun to resolve this issue. Hopefully, all the lights will be fully functioning soon!
The Emporium is located on Main Street, U.S.A. close to the entrance of Magic Kingdom. Because of its convenient location, it stays busy throughout the day.
Guests can find a wide variety of items like hats, housewares, apparel, toys, trading pins, and more!
With so many options in one place and close proximity to the entrance and exit of the park, it’s typically busy throughout the day.
Because it’s so busy, taking care of today’s lighting issue is sure to be a top priority. Having all the lights functioning will create a much safer environment for guests and Cast Members.
Main Street, U.S.A.
Main Street U.S.A. is the first thing you see when you walk into Magic Kingdom. It’s the perfect photo op with the shops on the sides and Cinderella Castle in the background!
In addition to the Emporium, guests can enjoy ballpark footlong hot dogs from Casey’s Corner, Starbucks drinks and treats from the Main Street Bakery, and ice cream from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.
If guests are looking for treats to take home with them, the Main Street Confectionary is a great stop. For popcorn fans, you can even make your own mix at Kernel Kitchen!
If you’re headed to Magic Kingdom today, make sure you spend some time on Main Street U.S.A. Though the Emporium is having electrical issues this morning, it’s still open for shopping!
