Disney Teases the Addition of ‘Frozen’ at the Disneyland Resort!
The Disney Parks Investor Summit is currently underway in Orlando, bringing us tons of exciting announcements!
Today’s summit has already brought us news like The Walt Disney Company’s plan to invest $60 billion into its parks and cruise line over the next 10 years. And Disney just hinted at what that enormous investment could bring to the parks–take a look!
Stories Yet To Be Explored
Fans were excited after Disney announced its intention to invest $60 billion into the parks and cruise line over the next 10 years. This huge investment will allow The Walt Disney Company to focus on being ambitious with expanding the parks, maintaining quality, and increasing the presence of popular franchises.
And speaking of–Disney has already set their eyes on franchises they want to increase the presence of, starting with Frozen in the Disneyland Resort. Take a look at this snippet from the summit that Scott Gustin shared on X:
NEW: During today’s Disney Parks investor summit in Orlando, Josh D’Amaro said Frozen “could have a presence at the Disneyland Resort.” He continued: “Wakanda has yet to be brought to life. The world of Coco is just waiting to be explored.” pic.twitter.com/M2ddiIGy6q

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, hinted that Frozen “could” have a presence around the Disneyland Resort! This is exciting news, considering how detailed and immersive the World of Frozen expansion is at Hong Kong Disneyland.
D’Amaro also shared the possibilities of Black Panther–specifically Wakanda–and Coco being brought to life, as they’ve yet to be explored. The Disney Treasure will initiate the process of exploring the world of Coco, courtesy of its Plaza de Coco restaurant. Perhaps we can expect to see similar projects hit the parks?
Of course, none of this is set in stone and are mere examples of the type of storytelling Disney still has left to do around the parks. We like to dream big, however, so we’re hoping the Disneyland Resort will get a Frozen expansion that’s equivalent to Hong Kong’s World of Frozen!
