Helicopter Spotted Hovering Above Magic Kingdom Amid Bear Reports
I think it’s safe to say that today has been one of the wildest days in the history of the Magic Kingdom.
The day started out with large crowds flooding into the Magic Kingdom, only to learn that Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square were all closed.
A Bear in Magic Kingdom?!
While Cast Members originally stated that the lands were closed due to technical difficulties, reports soon came out that the reason for the closure was that a bear was found on Tom Sawyer Island. A BEAR!

Adventureland is also Closed
According to Sir Brayden on X (Twitter), the bear was discovered on Tom Sawyer Island.
According our source, a BEAR was found this morning inside Magic Kingdom Park. Want to know how this discovery was made? A cast member walked the caves in Tom Sawyer’s Island and there it was. CAN YOU IMAGINE? 😳 https://t.co/oD1IhqMyiX

Since Brayden’s report, other outlets have seemingly verified the bear story.
A Helicopter Overhead
Adding to the circus atmosphere at the park today, a helicopter has now been spotted hovering above the Magic Kingdom.
It is unclear why the copter is hovering above the Magic Kingdom. It seems likely, however, that it is there for a bear-related purpose.

Between the closures, the bear, and the helicopter (oh my!) it has been quite the day at the Magic Kingdom.
I for one, am sitting here trying to figure out if I would rather be stuck on Tom Sawyer Island with the bear, or trapped in Magic Kingdom with only three lands open. It’s a close call!
UPDATE: All three lands reopened around 12:30PM, but Tom Sawyer Island remains closed while bear relocation efforts are reportedly underway.

I feel so bad for everyone involved in this situation—all the guests for having a most UNmagical day, the poor cast members, especially those that work Guest Services ( I can only imagine the day they are having), and I feel so bad for the poor bear, he must be so scared.
