Former Disney Channel Star Ashley Tisdale Sued Over Car Accident
Former Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale is being sued for a car crash she allegedly caused.
Lina Gonzalez is suing the High School Musical star for injuries she claims she suffered from an accident that occurred in September 2022.
In her suit, Gonzalez alleges that as a result of the crash she has suffered wage loss, loss of love and protection, and increased medical expenses.
Here’s What Happened
Gozalez’s lawyer Michael R. Parker told TMZ that the accident happened as Lina was driving on Hollywood Boulevard waiting for her turn to make a left turn. Allegedly, Tisdale changed lanes and collided with Lina’s car, which was in the correct left turn lane.
According to Parker, Tisdale was irate over the situation and lashed out at Gonzalez. He also alleges that the accident caused Gonzalez severe neck and back injuries. She is reportedly now facing $140,000 in medical expenses.
Parkers says that after his client’s $600,000 demand was not met by Tisdale, her team filed the lawsuit.
A representative for Ashely Tisdale said that there were no words exchanged following the crash and that Tisdale and Gonzalez exchanged information and moved on.
