“Rogers: The Musical” to End Its Disneyland Run Soon
The Avengers have gotten a lot of love ever since Disney and Marvel created the MCU. We’ve seen origin story movies for many of our favorite heroes, as well as the star-studded ensemble Avengers movies.
We’ve also seen a lot of characters get their own Disney+ shows, like Loki, WandaVision, andHawkeye. The latter even featured a fun in-universe musical that we’ve recently seen come to life over in Disneyland!
But, it’s the musical is about to end its run.
Rogers: The Musical Ending
“Rogers: The Musical” will be ending its run on August 31st. We already knew about this end date, but Disneyland has confirmed that the musical will not be extended at this time, according to The Orange County Register.
It was thought that the show might be extended longer since it was such a fun offering, but that will not be happening. But, that doesn’t mean it won’t come back sometime in the future, it just might be a while.
Right now, it doesn’t seem like anything is replacing the show, just that it’s ending. But, we’ll be on the lookout!
The one-act musical has been happening since the end of June. It’s the original show based off of the fictional one we see in the Disney+ Marvel series Hawkeye.
If you want to catch it before it’s gone, the show takes place at the Hyperion Theater on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 12:15PM, 1:4PM, 4PM, and 5:30PM. It’s 35 minutes long, so plan accordingly.
The show follows the life of Steve Rogers, or Captain America. It’s a musical retelling showing everything from his start in World War II all the way up to the Avengers.
There are 5 original songs, as well as the songs “Save The City” from Hawkeye and “Star Spangled Man” from Captain America: The First Avenger.
So, go see the show before it’s gone! Stay tuned for more Disneyland news and updates.
