VIDEO: First Look at “Rogers: The Musical” Coming Soon to Disneyland
It’s almost time to catch a new Marvel-inspired musical at Disneyland Resort!
“Rogers: The Musical” is based on a fictional musical shown in the Disney+ series, Hawkeye, and it opens at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure on June 30th, lasting until August 31st. We’ve got details about the virtual queue, a premium viewing experience, and a NEW trailer below!
“Rogers: The Musical “
“Rogers: The Musical” was written by Hunter Bell, featuring five new songs with music by Christopher Lennertz and lyrics by Jordan Peterson, Christopher Lennertz, and Alex Karukas.
You’ll be able to watch the iconic “Save the City” song performed in Hawkeye, as well as “Star Spangled Man,” which you may remember from Captain America: The First Avenger. The “Imperial March” from Star Wars films is also somehow part of the show, as is “I Love Lucy” from the show, I Love Lucy.
Special merchandise and food will also be available during the show’s run this summer, as well as two PhotoPass Magic Shots.
Virtual Queue
If you want to watch “Rogers: The Musical,” you will have to enter a virtual queue at Disney California Adventure — meaning you need to either have already entered DCA or have entered Disneyland with a Park Hopper ticket.
Distribution will begin at 10:30AM for the first two showtimes of the day, and then 2PM for the afternoon showtimes.
Guests who enter the virtual queue will be able to choose which showtime they want, and they will be called back to the Hyperion Theater when the physical queue opens about 30-45 minutes prior to the show.
Premium Viewing Experience
If you’d rather skip the free virtual queue, there’s an option to pay for the “Rogers: The Musical” Premium Viewing Experience for $29. This includes first access to the theater, reserved seating in front of Stage 12, a souvenir popcorn bucket, a Coca-Cola drink, and access to a photo op.
This experience will be available daily until sold out, or until 90 minutes before the last show. You can purchase it by visiting Studio Catering Co. in Hollywood Land.
