Croissant Doughnut Gets a New Home at EPCOT
The snack, the myth, the legend. Few Disney World goodies get a cult following like EPCOT’s Croissant Doughnut and we are delighted to share the news that it is making a comeback. Disney Eats posted the news yesterday that the Croissant Donut will now be served at Connections Cafe (which for those unfamiliar is the new Starbucks location in the park!)
You can check out the official post below:
The Croissant Donut which combines the layered buttery yumminess of a croissant with the cinnamon sugar deliciousness of a donut is available for $5.79 at Connections cafe. That is, if you can find one…
Our MickeyBlogger Miranda rushed over to EPCOT this morning to start her day off with a Croissant Donut only to find that by 11 am Connections had completely sold out of the treat. Talk about demand. Ah well, we’ll try again tomorrow!
The Croissant Doughnut (or the Cronut) made its Disney World debut back in 2013 at EPCOT’s Refreshment Port. It then vanished before reappearing at the Taste Track kiosk (near Test Track) before going on hiatus again only to crop up at Connections Cafe.
We hope that this goodie now gets the pride of place it deserves on the menu! However, there are no guarantees so pop over and give one a try while you can. However, don’t make the mistake we did…get there REALLY early to avoid disappointment.
