You Can Now Pre-Order The Upcoming ‘Wish’ Little Golden Book
When I was young, I was enamored by the Disney Litle Golden Books.
My grandmother had a collection of stories on her hallway bookshelf, and through them, I was introduced to Disney characters that I had never heard of. From the Three Little Pigs to Brer Rabbit and Professor Owl, I loved classic stories and beautiful artwork. The books felt like Disney to me.

Well, I am happy to report that thirty years later, Disney is still creating new Little Golden Books for the next generation of fans.
In fact, a new Little Golden Book, telling the story of Disney’s upcoming film Wish, is set to be released on August 10.

In many ways the culmination of the Disney100 celebration, Wish will answer the question, “How did the wishing star, come to be?”
The film’s story is set in Rosas, a kingdom where wishes literally come true. In the film, Asha, an optimist who cares about her community makes an impassioned plea to the stars.

The young heroine’s plea is answered in the form of Star, a little ball of boundless energy.
Together, they have to save Asha’s kingdom and prove that when a courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wonderful things can happen!

This Little Golden Book is a 24-page retelling of the film’s story. It also features the kind of amazing artwork that Little Golden Books are known for.

While you will have to wait until November 22 to see Wish in theaters, the Little Golden Book will arrive earlier.
