The Best Poutine of the Year is BACK for EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicked off back in July and there’s a bunch of stuff to check out! You can find new food and merchandise, special activities, and live music happening at the festival this year.
Food & Wine Festival runs until November 18th this year, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it! Now, come along with us as we check out some of the festival offerings over at Refreshment Port.
Refreshment Port
Everything at Refreshment Port is returning from previous festivals. There isn’t much over here, but let’s find out it it’s still worth stopping here while you’re tackling Food & Wine.
The only food item on the menu for the festival is the Braised Beef Poutine for $10. There was previously a dessert on the menu, but then it mysteriously disappeared!
This poutine is French fries with braised beef, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese sauce, cheese curds, crumbled Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs, and gherkin relish.
These are awesome! The beef was tender and the cheese and toppings really bring it all together to make a delicious dish.
This is sure to be a favorite among those looking for a hearty snack!
We also thought the portion size was a great deal for the price!
These a great shareable snack, or keep them all to yourself for a more substantial item.
Moving on to the drinks, first up is the Boulevard Brewing Co. Quirk Pineapple Orange Whip Hard Seltzer for $11.25. This is a super refreshing seltzer!
You taste both the fresh pineapple and orange and there’s also that hint of sweetness from the whip part of the drink, which tasted like vanilla to me. This was very drinkable and didn’t have that weird artificial taste you can sometimes get with hard seltzers.
Is it worth $11.25? Probably not, but I think it’s worth trying at least once if you’re a big hard seltzer fan and want something refreshing that won’t weigh you down!
You can also get the Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach for $11. And, do note that this is a spot where you can get a festival edition of the CORKCICLE Stemless Flute for $24.
