REVIEW: Brazil Is a Sure Hit at the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
Olá from the EPCOT World Showcase, everyone! The 2023 International Food & Wine Festival has been going on since the end of July, transforming the entire park into a foodie experience like nowhere else.
Our MickeyBloggers have been able to experience a lot of different things at the festival, giving us a look at all the festival décor, atmosphere, merchandise, and activities… as well as all the mouth-watering food and drink treats available as well. We’re so happy to have you joining us!
So, you probably want to know which bites are the most unmissable at the festival right?. Well, our next stop is over between the France and Morocco pavilions, so follow that smell of queijo and see what’s cooking!
It’s Brazil!
This snazzy booth joined the festival kitchen line-up all the way back in 1996 and has become a popular stop for guests looking for tasty treats ever since. MickeyBlogger Jared got to try out the delicious dishes available, and we can’t wait to hear what he thinks!
Of course, the mere mention of Brazil is enough to send EPCOT fans into a flurry these days, but today it’s strictly the food and drinks from the beautiful country we’re here to discuss. So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this menu board!
First up is a tasty concoction known as Feijoada, which consists of black beans with pork belly, topped with a brazil nut pesto, sat atop a bed of BEN’S ORIGINAL Long Grain White Rice.
This costs $6.25 per portion and, we have to say, it sure does look divine!
Now, Jared confessed to us that pork isn’t usually his favorite meat, but that didn’t seem to be a problem here. In fact, he told us this dish was Awesome with a capital ‘A’, and certainly something he’d be recommending to guests!
The second menu item here at Brazil is Pão de Queijo, which is a specialty Brazilian cheese bread dish. It costs $5 per portion, and boy this sure sounded delicious as well!
According to Jared, this stuff was simply to die for. Yes, it’s bread, but so stuffed that it’s pure magic for anyone who can’t get enough cheese!
In fact, it’s worth noting that this treat is part of Emile’s Fromage Montage experience at the festival this year. You can read more about this cheese-lover’s dream tour here, and be sure to get those festival passports stamped when you purchase that Pão de Queijo!
Now, that’s it for the food but, when it comes to drinks, there’s two unique and enticing alcoholic options here at Brazil.
First, there’s a Xingu Brazilian Black Lager, which is $5.50 for 6oz, or $9.50 for 12oz. Then, we’ve got a Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça, which is $12.
MickeyBlogger Madison tried the Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça and said it was absolutely delicious! It’s refreshing, tart, and zippy — definitely welcome on a hot day in EPCOT.
This is like a great frozen margarita but better because it isn’t too sweet. Madison said it’s one of the best frozen drinks she’s ever had at Disney World!
If any of these delicious Brazilian treats sound tempting to you, be sure to visit this fabulous booth on your next festival visit. In the meantime, you can be sure to get all the best reviews, news, and more from the entire festival right here at MickeyBlog.com, as well as on our social channels.
Stay tuned, as there’s plenty more flavorsome food, wonderful wine, and much more to be experienced!
