The new Haunted Mansion is not officially released for a few more days, but weekend previews and early reviews are coming in… And they are pretty promising.

You may recall the original Haunted Mansion movie starring Eddie Murphy from 2003. Unfortunately, the movie was not a box office hit and the film was not received well.
However, the new remake is offering a different take on the iconic attraction and fans are pretty excited.

Disney’s Haunted Mansion premieres July 28th, but some critics and selected press received an early screening this past weekend!
Early viewers shared their reactions on social media and their thoughts? Overwhelmingly positive!

Critics enjoyed the clever correlation between the film and the iconic Disney ride.
They also enjoyed the hidden Easter eggs, and how this version of the movie truly captured the spirits of the attraction.

You will want to see this new movie based on the popular Disney attraction, The Haunted Mansion.
The new film is released in just a few days and is directed by Justin Simien.

The remake follows single mom, Gabbie, who purchases a haunted mansion in New Orleans. But she soon discovers that the mansion is home to a variety of ghosts and spooky haunts. Follow Gabbie’s adventure as she teams up with a fun cast of characters to rid her home of the ghosts!
