New Indiana Jones Props Added to Jock Lindsey’s
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog recently you’ll know that the latest escapades of Indiana Jones, The Dial of Destiny, is now in theaters. Disney has been getting in on the celebration by adding some fun Indy touches around the parks and Disney Springs. It should come as no surprise that one place doing this is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar which already draws its theming from our intrepid adventurer.
Inside Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, you can now find some new props inspired by Indy’s latest adventure.
First up is a gold clock.
If you look closely at the inscription, you’ll notice that it says “Happy Retirement Dr. Jones.”
It’s little touches like this that make Jock Lindsey’s such a fun Disney Springs watering hole!
During our look around Jock Lindsey’s, we also found the journal below. If you look closely you’ll notice details that relate directly to the Dial of Destiny film.
Another new addition to Jock’s can be found below.
Here you can see two sets of playing cards. One is orange, the other is black and they’re both in a leather carrying case.
Atop one of the bookcases, you’ll notice a bag with an array of papers.
In the bag are images of Indy’s father, Marion, and a Dial of Destiny-era photo of Indiana Jones.
Also, take time to check out the Lost & Found case that you’ll find padlocked next to the restrooms, you’ll find some interesting new Indy artifacts!
Patrons of Jock Lindsey’s will also want to be on the lookout for this display case covered in chicken wire.
Inside you’ll notice an old photograph that relates back to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
The photos feature an image of Basil Shaw, a young Helena Shaw, and Indiana Jones.
Helene Shaw is Indy’s daughter. In the film, she is a grown-up and played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
If you’re heading to Disney Springs in the near future and are an Indiana Jones fan, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is a must-do!
Located in The Landing Area of Disney Springs. Jock Lindsey’s was inspired by the famous easygoing pilot from Raiders of the Lost Ark. He was the owner of a pet snake named Reggie.
As the backstory goes, Jock’s travels eventually led him to Disney Springs in 1938 while chasing down a mythology-based tip. He fell in love with the natural springs and lush terrain of the area and settled in the area where Jock offered seaplane tours. Eventually, Jock built an airplane hanger which became a popular stopover and watering hole for world travelers and locals alike.
