Wait Times Currently Glitching in My Disney Experience App
It may be 626 Day, but this Disney World issue doesn’t seem to be Stitch’s fault.
If you’ve visited Disney World recently, you probably found yourself using the My Disney Experience app for all kinds of things — from mobile checkout to quick service orders to booking Lightning Lanes and more. But if you’re in the parks today, here’s what you may be experiencing.
My Disney Experience App Glitch
When we opened the My Disney Experience app this morning, we noticed this “Pardon the Inconvenience” message pop up. It says, “Park attraction wait times may be inaccurate or not available at this time.”
This isn’t the first time this has happened, and in fact, the app very recently experienced a different glitch.
Instead of showing standby wait times like normal, the app is not currently displaying any standby wait time estimates, even if you click on the individual rides.
The Tip Board is not exempt either, showing no wait times.
It does appear, however, that guests who have purchased Genie+ can still book Lightning Lanes.
If you’re in the park, you can still check wait times the old-fashioned way — by walking up to each attraction. Around 11AM, Frozen Ever After in EPCOT was 75 minutes.
UPDATE: Early in the afternoon, wait times returned!
The app’s glitch appears to have been fixed, but we’ll be watching closely for any more issues.
