The Energy Bytes Pina Colada Slushy Just Blasted into Walt Disney World
Greetings from the Magic Kingdom, where this hot Florida sun sure is beating down!
On warm summer days like today, there’s nothing better than a cool drink to help us feel refreshed and refocused on our most magical activities.
Thankfully, the Magic Kingdom is bursting with amazing snack stops to visit – but the coolest cafe of the moment is situated right over here in Tomorrowland!
Welcome to Energy Bytes, this slick new kiosk snack location sat in the shadow of the epic TRON: Lightcycle / Run.
Having only opened in March this is still a very new venue, with a fun array of futuristic-inspired sips and snacks to keep guests fueled up for their visit to The Grid.
Earlier in the week, we reported that Energy Bytes had just refreshed its list of menu options, and our MickeyBlogger stopped by today to try out one of the new offerings.
Come with us, and we’ll see what it’s all about!
So, this awesome-looking drink concoction is the Pina Colada Slushy, new on the menu this week.
It sure does look unusual, so we couldn’t wait to hear what Jared had to say!
This is a classic pina colada-flavored slushy drink, sure to quench thirst and sweeten tastebuds on a hot day.
However, it’s that mysterious-looking topping that is really intriguing us – what do you think it could be?
Well, to answer the question, this vividly-colored mix consists of matcha (for the green), chipotle pineapple (for some spice), and popping candy (for fun)!
An unusual mix, but we’re keen to give it a go!
We asked Jared what he thought of this slushy, and he confirmed it was actually delicious. The unique flavors all blended together beautifully to create a really refreshing result, and certainly something we’d order again.
Jared said the pineapple on top was especially tasty too – although the quirky popping candy did catch him off guard at first!
If you’d like to try this treat out for yourself, be sure to head over to Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. It cost $5.99 from Energy Bytes.
Alternatively – if you’re searching for a drink with a bit more of a kick – consider this frozen coffee treat from over at Auntie Gravity’s.
We really mean it when we say the Magic Kingdom is fantastic for cool drinks, you know!
