Food Review
Let’s start with the Power Cycle menu items!
Beef and Broccoli Digital Dumplings ($8.79)
The Beef and Broccoli Digital Dumplings include broccoli pesto, crispy garlic, and ginger-soy broth. Our MickeyBloggers share that the dumplings are a bit tough on the outside.
The inside resembles a beef meatball, and tastes moist and delicious! We really enjoyed the ginger-soy broth which is flavorful and salty and pairs nicely with the beef and broccoli.
This dish reminds us of a deconstructed soup dumpling. The broccoli pesto is hard to identify, so much so, we wish there was more.
Overall, this is a great snack find for Magic Kingdom and a huge step up from basic Park bites. Out of the two dumpling options, this is our favorite, and we can’t wait to order it again!
Buffalo Chicken Digital Dumplings ($8.49)
The Buffalo Chicken Digital Dumplings include celery, dehydrated blue cheese, and cayenne pepper broth. Our MickeyBloggers share that the chicken is rather tough.
It tastes like a ground chicken meatball. The cayenne pepper broth resembles marinara, with a thicker, saucy consistency.
This dish is spicy! The blue cheese adds flavor, but is not overly strong.
We don’t recommend this one for sharing being that you only get 3, small dumplings. Overall, we appreciate this option, and would recommend trying the dish!
Let’s move on to the End of Line dessert options!
Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes ($5.79)
The Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes come with 5 pieces and are served with mocha sauce. Our MickeyBloggers share that this sweet treat is pretty much your run-of-the-mill doughnut hole.
We found the interior to be a little bit dry. The sauce tastes like it has alcohol in it, reminiscent of Kahlua or Baileys.
The doughnuts keep their shape and don’t get soggy when dipped in the sauce. While the popping rocks are minimal, we did experience a minor popping sensation!
Strawberry IceOform ($5.29)
The Strawberry IceOform comes with carmelized graham cracker crumbs and cheesecake foam. Our MickeyBloggers share that the strawberry ice cream is absolutely delicious!
This isn’t really a shareable dessert as it only offers a few bites, mirroring a festival-type option. The mochi tasted a bit off, with a chewy, granular, gummy-like texture.
We found this to be a bit pricey for what you get, but overall, we still enjoyed the dessert.
Now, let’s take a look at the featured Sip Protocol drink!
Watermelon Refresher ($5.99)
The Watermelon Refresher includes yuzu citrus, ginger, and popping candies. This is our MickeyBloggers’ favorite item at the kiosk!
Sweet, light, and refreshing, it’s the perfect drink for a hot Magic Kingdom Park Day! Served frozen, it has a slushy consistency.
The popping candies add a fun element to the concoction. The watermelon flavor is sweet but not overwhelming.
Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew ($5.29)
The Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew comes with mocha milk. Our MickeyBloggers share that this is pretty much your average Joffrey’s Cold Brew.
The flavor is nice, with a slight sweetness from the mocha. While it’s nothing to go out of your way for, it’s convenient to have a coffee option available at the stand.
Overall, our MickeyBloggers really enjoyed the menu items at this booth. They remind us of food you’d find at a festival.
Although the portions are moderate, we love the unique food and drink options. Upon your visit to TRON Lightcycle / Run, make sure to stop by Energy Bytes and see what you think!
