Low Wait Times, Plenty of Passes Greet Guests On Day 2 of Walt Disney World Annual Pass Sales
Walt Disney World resumed sales of its Annual Passes for the second day in a row this morning.
For the first time in 18 months, Disney fans have the ability to purchase any of the four Walt Disney World Annual Passes. Sales kicked off yesterday at 6:47AM ET, as thousands of Disney fans rushed to get their passes.
Disney Suspended Sales Overnight
After a day full of high demand, long lines, and technical issues, Disney suspended Annual Pass sales last night at 11AM ET.
At that time, guests who were waiting in the online queue remained there, as long as they stayed connected to the network and kept their browser window open.
In their official message, Disney stated that new pass sales would begin again this morning (April 21) at 7:15AM Eastern Time.
All Passes Available, Wait Times Much Lower
Despite Disney’s warning that one or more of the four Walt Disney World Annual Passes would sell out, all four passes remain available as of the time of this writing.
Day 2 of Walt Disney World Annual Pass Sales kicked off at a much more relaxed pace. Despite the fact that some guests waited as long as six hours to procure their pass yesterday, wait times this morning have been under 10 minutes.
Although demand has been lower today, Disney is still warning that guests should be prepared for long wait times and that at least one pass could sell out. When buying Annual Passes, the following message appears onscreen.
For now, at least, however, it seems to be smooth sailing.
