Star Wars Stormtroopers Continue to Miss the Mark in Disney World
Star Wars fans: It’s almost time to celebrate the most important day of the year — May the 4th! Some fun things are happening like new merchandise, new Star Wars wallpapers, and a bunch of limited-time treats.

So, let’s go try a new Star Wars treat over in Disney Springs!
Stormtrooper Petit Cake
This is the new Stormtrooper Petit Cake from Amorette’s Patisserie! It has layers of chocolate chiffon, vanilla bean mousse, dark chocolate ganache, and cherry jam with cherry pieces for $22.
This certainly looks really cool, but how does it taste? Let’s find out!
So, the chocolate cake is a little on the dry side. We definitely think it could be more moist.
It was just too dry and crumbly!
We did enjoy the taste of the cherry jam with the chocolate cake because the flavors went really well together.
However, there was only a little bit of cherry jam, so we definitely would’ve liked if there was a better ratio of the jam to cake here.
And, we didn’t seem to get any cherry pieces! That was a bit disappointing.
The vanilla bean mousse was good and added a nice sweetness, but there just wasn’t enough of it for how dry the cake is.
Unfortunately, as fun as it looks, we wouldn’t suggest spending $22 on this one. There are just too many negatives and not enough positives when it comes to the taste.
But, if you do want to try it, you can get it from now through May 6th. Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
