We’ve had some big announcements, like the confirmation that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning, and some spooky treats!
And now, we’re checking out a special spooky merchandise release over at a Disney World hotel!
Gargoyle Tiki Mug
We headed on over to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to get a special tiki mug!
This Gargoyle Tiki Mug is available at Trader Sam’s for Disney’s Halfway to Halloween celebration.
The mug is $80 and it comes with a choice of drink included. The options are either a Look Alive Mai Tai or a Ghoulish Delight.
We showed up before the release at 3PM and were allowed 2 wristbands per person, which means you’re guaranteed a mug. The mugs are limited to 2 per person!

People waiting for wristbands!
We waited until 3, then we went and picked up our mug and our drink!
Check out this mug! We love it — just look at those tiki torches the gargoyle is holding.
The gargoyle is smiling, so it’s clearly having a great time.

Check out those skulls underneath him!
The bottom of the mug says Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and 1st Edition. These are collectors items!
Now for the drink! The drink doesn’t actually come in the mug so it can stay clean.

Let’s get our drink!
The alcoholic drink featured is The Mai Tai, which has Plantation dark rum, Bacardi superior white rum, Bols blackberry brandy, passion fruit-orange-guava juice, orgeat, falernum, and lime juice.
Then, The Ghoulish Delight is non-alcoholic and has Lyre’s Agave Reserva Spirit with passion fruit, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, agave, and soda water.
We went with The Ghoulish Delight! This was tart and didn’t have a ton of sweetness, but it was refreshing.
And doesn’t it just look super spooky? The actual drink looks black!
So, while it might look ghoulish, it is refreshing and delicious.
The tiki mugs can definitely sell out, so grab them while ya can! Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates.
