Goofy Sports Brand New Look in Disney World for Earth Week
April is Earth Month and it’s also the same month that Animal Kingdom first opened as a park! This year, it’s the park’s big 25th anniversary, and there are a ton of celebrations.

There is new merchandise, food, and other fun happening in the park for the festivities! Animal Kingdom’s official anniversary is on Earth Day, April 22nd, and we’ve been seeing some rare characters in the park this week to celebrate.
We saw Jane and Terk from Tarzan and the characters from Brother Bear!

And today, we got to see a BRAND NEW look for a character in Animal Kingdom!
Fishing Goofy in Animal Kingdom
Fishing Goofy is in Animal Kingdom! This is a completely new look for Goofy, and we’re loving it!
We’ve seen Goofy fish in the parks before just in his normal outfit, but this is the first time we’ve actually seen this new fishing outfit on Goofy!

There’s also a Fishing Goofy in Disneyland, but he wears a totally different look. The Goofy in Animal Kingdom today looks like a very traditional fisherman.
He’s got the hat…
…the yellow flannel shirt…
…the cargo vest…
…and the CAMP MINNIE-MICKEY BELT BUCKLE!! How amazing is that?
And how fun are his boots? Goofy is ready to go fly fishing at a moments notice.
Goofy obviously loves his new outfit too, he even showed off the back of his vest for us! As you can see, he’s got some character patches sewn on!
So, head on over to Animal Kingdom today to meet Fishing Goofy while you can! We’re thinking this is going to be a very limited time look for Goof, just like the other rare characters we’ve seen this week.
