See Who Showed Up to the Poly in this Disney 100th Anniversary Bus!
We love a bit of Disney magic and it was in full effect for guests of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort this afternoon as a bus pulled up featuring Disney100 branding! If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney is currently celebrating its 100th Anniversary and you’ll never believe who rolled out of this branded bus – Donald, Goofy, and Pluto!
Here you can see the bus pulling up to the Porte Cochere at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
The bus features Disney’s 100th Anniversary colorway which is platinum and purple.
First out of the bus was the always adorable Donald Duck.
Donald is all decked out in his Disney100 celebratory gear.
Donald is wearing a white/silver vest with gold buttons.
A purple tux jacked with platinum trim completes the look.
We also love Donald Duck’s adorable bow tie.
Donald was filled with adorable hijinks.
He took time to pose for photos and interact with the crowd.
Pluto was also all smiles at the Polynesian this afternoon.
Notice that Pluto is wearing a brand new dog collar with his name and the Disney100 logo.
Pluto was very photogenic this afternoon.
Here’s Pluto giving us an adorable wag of his ears.
He decided to come in for a bit of a hug!
We wonder if he’s looking for Mickey in this image.
Now it’s time for him to mingle with some of the other guests!
Here’s Goofy looking absolutely dapper in his Disney100 outfit.
Goofy’s outfit includes metallic platinum shoes.
Goofy also sports purple trousers with platinum stripes.
Completing his look is a white vest with metallic buttons and a platinum metallic coat with fireworks embroidery.
Goofy tops off his look with a platinum hat with a purple ribbon.
He was definitely in a celebratory mood when we met him!
Each of the characters stopped to pose for photos with guests.
We even got a handshake.
One of the wonderful things about staying at a Disney resort is that you never know who you are going to encounter.
Characters have been known to make the rounds, especially at the monorail properties to mingle with guests and celebrate momentous occasions like Disney’s 100th Anniversary.
Many of the characters you encounter this year will be donning their 100th-anniversary apparel.
