Living With the Land Gives a Subtle Nod to Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney is currently celebrating its 100th Anniversary. The celebration will be unveiled across the parks with experiences, merchandise and so much more. Our MickeyBloggers were over at EPCOT today and opted for a relaxing boat ride on Living With the Land and noticed a subtle nod to the centennial celebration!
Living with the Land is one of my favorite relaxing attractions at Walt Disney World. The ride, located in The Land Pavilion takes you on a gentle boat ride through the incredible greenhouses at Walt Disney World.
You’ll get a look at the innovative growing techniques that Disney World horticulturalists use to create fruits, veggies and so much more.
As we sailed through the greenhouses we noticed that one of the displays features purple and green lettuce growing.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the contrast between the two colors makes a 100!
We love this cute way of celebrating 100 years of Disney magic-making.
If you’re lucky enough to be at Walt Disney World in the days and weeks ahead be sure to drop by EPCOT and more specifically Living With the Land to check out this tribute!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
