OOF! There Are Some BIG Crowds in Disney World Today
We’re in the middle of spring break season in Disney World, which means one very important thing — CROWDS! The parks are busy, and it doesn’t look like things will be slowing down any time soon.

Crowds in Magic Kingdom
We’ve seen big lines just to get into the parks, as well as some high wait times for rides once you’re inside. This usually lasts from the beginning of March through the middle of April (at least!).
We don’t expect to see things ease up in the near future, and our suspicions seem to be correct. We found some BIG crowds in Disney World today!

The entrance of EPCOT was very busy, not a good sign for the rest of the park!

Over in the World Showcase was booming with people! We started walking through the U.K. Pavilion from France and this was our view.
So many humans!
Once we got around to the Germany pavilion, things were just as crowded.
Everyone seems to want to be at EPCOT on this sunny day!
Moving toward Norway, the crowds were dense.
And, looking toward Mexico, it appears that things weren’t going to be thinning out.
Yeeesh just look at the long line to get into the Mexico pyramid!

As for how busy things actually seem to be, let’s take a look at those wait times. Around 4PM, Spaceship Earth was at a 55 minute wait, Soarin’ was at 70 minutes, Frozen Ever After was at 105 minutes, Test Track was at 120 minutes, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was at a whopping 190 minutes.
It was also very busy over in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.

It’s hard to completely avoid these crowds around this time of year, but there are some thing you can do to help try and avoid them as much as possible!
We would suggest rope dropping the park you’re visiting (getting there before it opens). You can get a LOT done in those few early morning hours when not as many people are around.
And, remember that you can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel or another qualifying hotel.
You can also track wait times using Disney Genie. If you can afford it, you can also buy Genie+ for the day to help you avoid some of those long lines for attractions.
However, we actually saw the highest price EVER for Genie+ today at $35 per person. It also sold out the earliest it ever has — before 10AM.

Remember, you can buy Genie+ starting at midnight the day of your park ticket, so if you want it, we’d suggest grabbing it as soon as you can just to be safe.
Another thing to try out is Extended Evening Hours in the parks. This is only for Deluxe and Deluxe Villa hotel guests. It’s only available on certain nights in certain parks, but you get a whole 2 extra hours after the parks close to go on rides!
And, as always during busy times of the year, manage your expectations. Dealing with crowds can be frustrating at times, so pack your patience.
