Pricing Revealed for TRON Identity Program at Magic Kingdom
One of the coolest bits of merchandise to be unveiled for the upcoming TRON Coaster is the TRON Identity Program. The Identity Program allows guests to customize your own TRON-Inspired action figure at the Grid Digitization Portal
Though the Disney-sphere has been abuzz with the news of the TRON Identity Program, one thing that wasn’t clear was how much this unique bit of TRON merch would cost. But, now we know. Disney recently updated the Identity Program page which includes the fact that they will be charging $89.99 per action figure plus tax.
That doesn’t seem too steep given the fact that you are getting a one-of-a-kind Disney souvenir!
For those interested in creating your very own TRON Figure, you’ll want to be on the lookout for a Grid Digitization Portal located in Tomorrowland Launch Depot (formerly the Light & Power Co.)
Once inside, you’ll be able to create an action figure or “Program” that looks and sounds just like you!
You’ll go through the customization process where Image Capture will scan your facial features. Then you’ll be able to further customize your figure’s helmet and body configuration. You’ll also get to decide what role your figure will play in “The Grid.” Will they be an Enforcer, Scout, Sentry!? Then you’ll get to pick a team color. Once finished with the customization you’ll head to Command Input where you’ll record 6 lines of dialogue in your own voice.
According to Disney, your TRON Identity Program figure will also feature an identity chip that can be used to re-program other TRON merchandise including Identity Discs and Remote Control Lightcycles.
It will take about 20 minutes to go through the customization process. Once complete you’ll have a 60 minute wait before your figure is ready.
Know Before You Go
- Payment is due upon arrival.
- There is a limit of only one action figure per User per experience.
- Packaging is included in the cost.
- Additional customizable options can be purchased at Launch Depot.
- This toy is recommended for guests 5 and older.
- The customization experience is limited to one customer and one guest. At lease one member of the party must be 14 or older.
- The TRON Identity Program Figures are non-refundable and are not eligible for Annual Passholder or other discounts.
TRON Identity Program Reservations
Participation in the TRON Identity program is subject to availability. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged and payment is due upon arrival.
Some same-day reservations may be available up to 2 hours in advance but these are limited. Separate Magic Kingdom park admission and park pass reservations are required.

Check In
Guests should arrive at Launch Depot no earlier than 10 minutes before the reservation time that you booked. There is a check-in location. Each member of your party must be present upon check in and admission to the TRON Identity Program. Late arrivals may not be accommodated. Reservation confirmations need to be presented at the time of check-in along with photo ID and the credit card you made your original reservation with.
