BREAKING: More After Hours Events Added For 2023 Including at EPCOT, Typhoon Lagoon and Hollywood Studios
Walt Disney World has just announced some exciting news regarding After Hours Events for 2023! Best of all, After Hours will now be extended to a new theme park – EPCOT!. The event will also be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and H2O Glow After Hours will be offered this summer at Typhoon Lagoon.
Here’s what we know so far:
What are Disney World’s After Hours Events?
For those unfamiliar, Disney After Hours are specially ticketed experiences that take place AFTER the theme parks have closed each evening to the general public. Ticketed guests will have access to your favorite rides and attractions with little to no lines as well as an array of other special experiences. Best of all, your After Hours ticket serves as your gate ticket allowing early entry to the park at 6pm for Typhoon Lagoon and 7pm for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
The number of tickets for each event is limited meaning no crowds and maximum fun!
EPCOT Joins the After Hours Fun
We are so excited to share the news that visitors to Walt Disney World will have the awesome opportunity to experience the magic of EPCOT for three hours after the gates have closed for the evening! This means exclusive access to attractions including Frozen Ever After, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

Those attending an EPCOT After Hours event will also want to be sure to have your cameras at the ready. This event will also feature character meet and greets with your favorite Disney friends as well as ice cream novelties, popcorn and select beverages included in the cost of your ticket!

Event Times
EPCOT After Hours takes place from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM. You can get a head start on the fun by entering the park at 7:00 PM—a few hours before the event officially begins.

H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon
Grab those glow sticks, don your neon swimwear because H2O Glow After Hours is making a comeback in 2023! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is slated to reopen this spring and After Hours is returning to light up your summer.
This is one of my favorite After Hours events with its vibrant décor, amazing themed menu of snacks and treats, waterslides under the stars and more! You’ll even be able to have your own Beach Party with a DJ on hand spinning tunes!

H2O Glow After Hours takes place from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Ticket holders can get a head start by entering the park at 6:00 PM.
Experience Star Wars Under the Stars with Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Hours
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has long been one of Disney’s most popular After Hours experiences. With more dates added for 2023, you’ll be able to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge after the sun goes down, ride Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway with little-to-no lines and frolic with Andy’s toys in Toy Story Land.

Guests can enter Hollywood Studios with your after hours ticket at 7:00 pm on the night of the event.
When Do After Hours Tickets Go On Sale?
Hollywood Studios After Hours Tickets Through April 19th are now on sale.
The NEW After Hours events announced above will kick off on May 20th at Typhoon Lagoon and at EPCOT on June 1st.
- Booking for Onsite Guests – Those staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can book your After Hours tickets starting on February 28, 2023. This includes those staying at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin as well as at Shades of Green.
- Booking For Offsite Guests – Those not staying at Disney World but wishing to get tickets for After Hours can book beginning on March 3, 2023.
