A New Hotel Options
The plans for the 77,136 square-foot hotel on Reedy Creek Boulevard are set to be reviewed on February 1, with country officials.
The new project calls for 60 suites and eight master suites to be built just west of Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Plans for the hotel also call for an outdoor infinity pool, and a dock structure. According to the plans, the dock will be constructed on a lake between the hotel and the main road.
Although DHC Development has confirmed the group’s intention to develop the project, it has declined to comment further.
Orlando Bounces Back
Hotel occupancy has continued to increase in the last year, with Visit Orlando reporting that hotels reported an average occupancy rate of 72.6% in November, which was up nearly 10% from November 2022.

With occupancy in Orlando nearing pre-pandemic, it makes sense that developers would be interested in creating new hotels.
While a cost estimate for the new project is not yet available, industry insiders suggest the hotel would cost between $15.4 and $30.9 million to construct.
