Over 150,000 People Will Pass Through Orlando International Airport Monday
Monday, is expected to be the fifth-busiest day of the holiday travel period at Orlando International Airport. According to WFTV 9, nearly 161,000 people will pass through the airport on January 2, 2023!
This is good news for Orlando tourism as these figures come despite Storm Elliot which saw more than 3000 flights canceled in the United States on Christmas Day alone. These cancellations included 27 flights at Orlando International Airport.
If you’re traveling to or from Orlando International airport (MCO) give yourself some extra time. January 2nd is slated to be the biggest date of the holiday travel period. On Christmas Eve, only one parking lot at Orlando International Airport had space left so availability may become an issue next Monday.
