CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: TRON Coaster Inching Closer to Completion at Magic Kingdom
It’s been a wee while since we shared with you an update from the TRON Coaster at Tomorrowland and WOW have things really come along recent.
With the main structure completed, cosmetic touches are being added including barrier walls, lampposts and signage.
We took these images from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
You can really see the walkway up to the attraction taking shape with steel railings and planters.
The canopies are a stunning addition to the Magic Kingdom skyline.
You can see the walls that have gone up between the TRON Coaster and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
Below is also a first glimpse at the Walt Disney World Railroad tracks.
The train route runs through the area of the new TRON Coaster.
A tunnel was even incorporated into the structure of the TRON Coaster to accommodate the railroad tracks!
We can’t wait to experience both of the attractions at some point early in 2023.
Work is also being carried out to the Light & Power Co. This is the gift shop next to Space Mountain.
The exterior of Light and Power Co is being refurbished and a walkway put in to get to the TRON attraction from Space Mountain.
Our MickeyBlogger also managed to get take a video of the TRON construction site from the PeopleMover which you can check out below.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further news on the TRON Coaster as we inch ever closer to an opening date.
