Spooktacular Halloween Photo Ops You Can’t Miss at Disneyland Resort!
October 31 is almost here and we’ve got the inside scoop on the top spots to snap a picture. Here are the spooktacular Halloween photo ops you can’t miss at Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland
The original Southern California Theme Park is bursting with opportunity when it comes to spooky backdrops. D23 gets fans into the spirit of the season by sharing the most picturesque locations at Disneyland Park.
Perhaps the most popular is the Mickey Pumpkin that sits in front of Main Street U.S.A. With an adorable carved face and an unmatchable glow at dusk, you can’t miss this iconic spot.
The Partners Statue featuring Walt and Mickey may not be as well known but provides a festive photo-op with Jack-o-lanterns celebrating each of the Park’s lands. Haunted Mansion Holiday looks spectacular for the Halloween Season, and will not disappoint those who enjoy The Nightmare Before Christmas film.
Disney California Adventure
Always a favorite of my son and me, the Headless Horseman stands tall in DCA. An ominous figure from Disney’s The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, it provides a unique backdrop for Halloween photos, especially at night!
A fan favorite, Cars Land lights up during the spooky season. Everywhere you look, there is festive decor scattered around, and it aligns perfectly with the automobile theme!
The Cars Land Sign makes for the perfect spot to pose for a pic. If the location is too crowded, check out the iconic Cozy Cone Motel where a Trunk or Treat Sign awaits.
Downtown Disney and Resort Hotels
Something that Disneyland regulars look forward to every year is the sweet treat displayed in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Oogie Boogie is decorated with bugs, snakes, and creepy jack-o-lanterns in a sculpture entirely made of treats!
Guests can head into Downtown Disney for a display that pays tribute to the Sanderson sisters! Located between Splitsville and Tortilla Jo’s, a Hocus Pocus 2 photo op awaits your arrival!
Snapping a photo is the perfect way to commemorate a day at Disney Parks. Don’t miss these spooktacular Halloween photo ops on your next trip to Disneyland Resort.
Happy Halloween!
