Marvel fans are getting hyped about a sequel set to premiere in less than one month! Rumor has it that Rihanna will feature new music for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack!

Known for being the second-best-selling female music artist of all time, she’s sold over 250 million records worldwide. Rihanna made her acting debut in a cameo for Bring It On: All or Nothing in 2006.
She’s more famously known for her involvement in Ocean’s 8, released by Warner Bros in 2018. In 2020, a rumor circulated that Rihanna would star in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Fans were disappointed to learn the rumors were untrue. Although the singer/actress won’t be starring in the film, she may be releasing new music for its soundtrack!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack
The sequel to Black Panther hits theaters on November 11, 2022. Hits Daily Double reports there has been chatter in the music industry about Rihanna recording two songs for the upcoming film.
Black Panther‘s original soundtrack garnered huge success. Featuring artists, SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Khalid, it won two Grammy Awards and the Oscar for Best Original Score.
Currently, the album is certified Platinum, selling one million units. Reportedly, Marvel is looking to recreate similar success with its new soundtrack.
According to the outlet, Marvel and Disney may be working with Westbury Road, Roc Nation, and Def Jam on the new album. Interestingly, the big names all have ties back to Rihanna, further igniting speculation.
In addition to rumors about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Rihanna has been making headlines for an upcoming appearance next year. Fans can’t wait to watch her perform at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show!
