Dinoland Looking Empty With Primeval World Demolition
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you’ll know that we’re at the Magic Kingdom today. Its been a while since we popped over to Dinoland USA and we’ve got to say, this area is looking a bit empty at the moment.
This land in Animal Kingdom still has the Dinosaur!, TriceraTop Spin and the Boneyard but the Chester & Hester Dinorama and the space that was formally home to the carnival-style ride the Primeval Whirl is looking pretty vacant these days.
The ride was demolished in 2020 and since then a replacement has not been announced.
There are some picnic tables next to the construction walls that still surround the former Primeval Whirl attraction.
Other than that, this area is definitely underutilized.
We’ve heard various rumors over the last few years that Dinoland USA could eventually be home to a themed land inspired by Zootopia, Indiana Jones and more. However, Disney has yet to make an official announcement.
This is a story that we will continue to follow closely. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates! We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
