Disney Springs’ AMC Looks Out-Of-This-World With New “Lightyear” Posters!
Now we’re in June, Space Rangers all across the galaxy are busy counting down the days for one thing… the release of Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear in theaters!
This highly-anticipated new movie is set to zap onto screens on June 17th, and we can’t wait. A prequel-ish movie featuring the heroic Buzz Lightyear on his defining intergalactic adventure, it’s no doubt going to be a blast!
One particular theater that is excited to welcome gueststo the movie is the AMC Dine-In at Disney Springs. Whenever there’s a big movie set to be released, the theater completely decks out its surrounding area in all sorts of posters and promo to entice guests through its doors.
Lightyear, of course, is no exception, and the AMC has really gone all out to make the theater look out-of-this-world in the movie’s honor!
As we head down to the West Side of Disney Springs, we can see so many different banners in promotion of the film. All are as blue and starry as outer space, and most feature the cool Buzz Lightyear looking ready for his next mission!
Many of the posters also feature Sox, Buzz’s adorable robotic cat companion who is sure to become a fan-favorite character soon!

Of course, these new banners and posters aren’t the only ways that Disney Springs is celebrating the upcoming movie release. In fact, we have already spotted this epic ice cream cone, and we’re sure that a rocket-load of Lightyear merchandise will be landing soon enough, too!
There are also some epic photo opportunities that have been created around the theater, such as this one pictured below. Guests can snap a photo with this huge Lightyear wall, and share the pic on social media using the special hasgtags provided.
Best of all, the doorway to the theater has been adorned with a starry blue carpet and banners, allowing guests to make a premiere-style entrance to their movie!
