Fun and Games are Back at Dinoland
Fossil Fun Games located in Dinoland at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have been closed since COVID-19 shut down the parks in March, but they did reopen on Sunday September 13th and there are some new prizes.

Bronto Score and Comet Crasher were back at Chester Hester’s Dino-Rama. Each game costs $5 to play. Bronto score is a basketball game where guests gather points for shooting basketballs into a basketball hoop in order to win prizes.
In Comet Crasher, guest toss “comets” into watery cups. If you land one, you win a prize.

The games are open during park hours, which are currently 10am-4pm daily. In order to play, you must purchase a voucher from either the game area or Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures.
The new plush prizes are precious. They include plushes of the Big Green Dinosaur you walk under as you enter Dinoland. Also, plushes of the dinosaur from Donald’s Dino-Bash. Also, available are the dinosaurs from TriceraTop Spin and the dinosaur from the ride Dinosaur. There are also very cute Mickey and Minnies in their Dinosaur outfits.

All of the plushes come in small, medium and large sizes and have the Animal Kingdom logo on their foot.
There are also some social distancing rules that apply when you play the games. Hand Sanitizer, Masks and heavy sanitation between games are all part of Disney’s safety protocols. Many of the kiosks in DinoLand still remain closed so a phased re-opening apparently applies to the games as well.
Other than TriceraTop spin the other main attraction in Dinoland, Primevil Whirl, is closed forever. This makes us wonder what is in store for the Dinoland area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
