Proposing near the stunning Cinderella Castle during fireworks is a classic choice, but is it the best one? Not only is it a little predictable, but firework crowds have also returned with a vengeance.
Do you want to risk being tramped by other guests (Mufasa-style) as you get down on one knee? Fortunately, Disney World is a treasure trove of other beautiful and intimate locations.

If you and your loved one are travelers, or dream of traveling the world, you might want to consider the World Showcase. The various pavilions are admired for their beauty and attention to cultural details.
They can also be pretty light on crowds if you’re lucky. Consider your sweetheart’s dream international trip and aim for an early morning or nighttime walk in Epcot.
Regarding your choices –
The gardens in the UK pavilion are lovely and tucked away from the bustle. The intricate crannies of the Moroccan pavilion are utterly private. And the cobble-stoned streets of Paris evoke tranquil romance at its finest.

The Beach at the Polynesian Village Resort
Beaches are another popular proposal spot, but this one is extra magical. Take your special someone to a romantic dinner at ‘Ohana or for a nightcap at Trader Sam’s in the Polynesian Village Resort.
Then, suggest a walk along the resort’s private beach alongside the Seven Seas Lagoon. From there, you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks (with no crowds) or the nostalgic Electrical Water Pageant.

It is truly shocking how many Disney World veterans have never been to this gem of a spot. Inspired by an idyllic, pristine version of the Atlantic City boardwalk, this shopping and dining area connects Epcot and the BoardWalk Inn and Villas Resort.
Painted in alabaster white and strung with twinkle lights, the BoardWalk area is a charming spot for an amorous stroll. With plenty of restaurants, stores, nightclubs, and roaming performers, this is a Disney locale worth visiting.

Take advantage of the moderate-low crowds and spend an evening here alongside the peaceful Crescent Lake. The romance of this turn-of-the-century atmosphere will surely give you the courage to propose.
And best of all, you may have discovered a much-calmer nighttime alternative to Disney Springs!
A Favorite Attraction
While we don’t suggest pulling a ring out on Splash Mountain or Space Mountain, there are calmer attractions to use as a proposal locale. First of all, ask yourself, “Do we have a favorite attraction?”
Do you and your sweetheart both adore the spookiness of The Haunted Mansion, the enchantment of Peter Pan’s Flight, or the nostalgia of The Carousel of Progress? Consider starting your next great adventure at the ride that embodies Disney World joy for you both.
Snag a Genie+ reservation or a Lightning Lane for your must-do attraction and propose before jumping in line. This beloved attraction will become only more special than ever.
California Grill – Firework Observation Deck
When it comes to fancy restaurants, few are more adored than the California Grill. Sitting atop the Contemporary Resort, this decadent restaurant features a view that is just as delicious as its menu.
Guests dine here regularly to get access to the private firework and Magic Kingdom viewing deck. (This is another great method for avoiding the nighttime crowds.)
Feast on hand-rolled sushi and filet minion as you gaze at a birds-eye view of the Magic Kingdom. Before the fireworks begin, take your date for a private stroll on the deck.
With the lights of the Magic Kingdom glistening in the distance, you will have the most stunning backdrop for a romantic, unforgettable proposal. All you need is the courage to ask for your sweetheart’s hand.
