Disney Star Idina Menzel Launches New Clothing Line
Idina Menzel, who famously voices Elsa in Disney’s Frozen film franchise, has launched a brand new clothing line.

Encore Is For Everyone
Menzel’s new line, dubbed ‘Encore,’ is comprised of fashionable, “inclusive” pieces.
The collection, created to be an effortless wardrobe, will be sold through QVC. Menzel wanted clothes she could wear both to bed and out of the house during the day.

In an interview with People Magazine,
says:
“Sleep to street, that’s kind of where it came from. And then, when I started to really manifest the idea and put it out there, I [saw] how I could build upon that for an entire collection and really take decision making [of a day’s outfit] out of the equation.”

The launch collection features 15 pieces, sizes extra small to 3X. The styles will retail between $40 and $100.
How Did She Come Up With the Name?
Menzel wanted to design a collection that would offer pieces that would work in everyone’s closet. She tells People Magazine the real her is “someone at home who likes to just roll up on the couch and feel comfortable, and not be overly dressed.”

In naming the line, she wanted to remind people of her job as a performer, but also appeal to multi-tasking women everywhere.
“We’re trying to multitask and trying to keep it together, and occasionally everyone needs to stand on a stage in the spotlight and take in an applause and have an encore,” she shares in the interview. “That’s how I really feel, and I just want other people to feel that way too.”

“Comfort, Timeless and Honest”
Describing the collection as “comfort, timeless and honest,” Menzel is looking forward to her partnership with QVC.
Selling her clothes on the television platform will allow her to further connect with consumers.

After all, Menzel point out “trying to connect with people, it’s what I do for a living.”
