Green Army Men Auditions Now Live for Walt Disney World
Have you ever wanted to be one of the green army men that patrol Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Well now is your chance!
The Disney Auditions website is now asking for online submissions for the drum corps section of the patrolling toys.
As the drum corps of the green army men play the snare, bass drum, and quads, those looking to apply should be proficient in all three.
Candidates must be within the 5’9″ – 6’2″ height range to be eligible, as well as be comfortable performing within the Florida heat in full makeup and costume.
Disney has stated that they are looking to fill part-time and sub positions for this role.
This is a great step for the Walt Disney World Resort, which is also looking for a multitude of height ranges for their more traditional character performers as normal meet-and-greets are set to return.
Guests will be able to meet all of their favorite characters just as before the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning on April 19th.
The announcement comes shortly after other Disney Parks across the globe brought their traditional meet and greets back, including Disneyland Paris.

Up until this point, characters around the Walt Disney World Resort have been meeting guests in a distanced style, allowing selfies but not autographs.
From April 19th on, everything guests loved about meeting their favorite characters will be returning, with lots and smiles and tears as well!
