Disney’s Cultural Exchange Program Returns to Walt Disney World!
Another major milestone for the Walt Disney World Resort has happened today, with the return of the Cultural Exchange Program!
The Walt Disney Company announced the return of the three-month-long program on Twitter this afternoon, bringing the resort one step closer to its pre-pandemic state.

Despite the name which may confuse people, this program is similar to the domestic College Program which welcomed the first participants back since the pandemic in June 2021.
Instead of asking participants to dedicate one year of their time to the exchange, like the Cultural Representative Program participants that work in EPCOT, this option is one for students in international countries.
Applicants must be a student enrolled in an accredited, degree-issuing college or university, returning to school for at least one term following the program, or have just graduated.
It does not state if the internship counts towards the applicant’s credits, so it is assumed that this program is to improve their resume.
Although the program is usually open to all countries, currently the only countries offering the program are Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom.
It is expected as more of the world opens up and COVID-19 rates decline, the countries offered will expand.
